A new initiative promoting Italian DOP and IGP products was introduced by the Ministry of Agriculture Luca Zaia together with the CEO of Alitalia Rocco Sabelli: “Buonitalia – Prendi il volo con i sapori italiani”1.
This project was presented by Alitalia, AICG, Buonitalia, Federdoc, AIS and the Italian branch of JRE, the association of European young restaurateurs.
The service consists in offering typical Italian food products to national and international passengers on board Alitalia flights and at Freccia Alata Club lounges.
It was introduced on flights to New York, Chicago, Toronto and Miami in last December.
