The Primavera del Prosecco DOCG¹ is ready to receive guests from 26th February to 1st June 2010 in various towns where events will take place.
Moreover, special package holidays will allow them to explore arts, history, landscape and wines and food of the northern area of the province of Treviso, where the Prosecco DOCG – or Prosecco Superiore – is being produced, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, since a long time ago.
Charming weekends in the hills of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG to learn about arts, culture and wine and food traditions through the festivals of the renewed Primavera del Prosecco DOCG: five different relaxing package holidays getting in touch with excellent cuisine, gentle hills and an exceptional wine, the Prosecco Superiore.

The package holidays are organised by the Primavera del Prosecco with Ondaverdeviaggi and Marca Treviso, the local tourism promotion agency.

Each of the 17 festivals will host food and wine tasting stalls, as well as an “Info Point” in which a competent staff will provide information about sports and culture events and on the special weekend packages organised with Marca Treviso.

NEW LOGO: “SUI COLLI DI CONEGLIANO VALDOBBIADENE PRIMAVERA PROSECCO DOCG”

The Primavera del Prosecco renews its appearance waiting for the 1st April, when the former DOC designation will permanently become superior.
It will be the result of the procedure started by a ministerial decree in July 2009, recognising the DOC designation for Prosecco and the DOCG designation for the specific subzone Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco.

As a consequence, the long-standing logo of the Primavera del Prosecco was modified in order to better show the landscape in which the Prosecco Superiore is produced, that is, the renowned historical zone.
Besides the DOCG “brand”, it becomes green-coloured just as its vineyards, and golden-embellished as its bunches of grapes.
